(POMONA, January 2020) — Officers responded to a call at Holt Avenue and Short Street around 9:20 PM on Friday night, finding a woman suffering from severe injuries sustained from a hit-and-run accident. Evidence found at the scene indicated that the woman was hit by a vehicle while she was attempting to cross the street. The woman was immediately rushed to the hospital where she died of her injuries.
