(KOREATOWN, LOS ANGELES, January 2020) — Around 2 AM on Monday morning, the Los Angeles Police Department attempted to pull over what they believed to be a stolen vehicle in Koreatown. Instead of stopping, the driver of the alleged stolen car sped off and crashed into several other vehicles. Eventually, the driver fled from the vehicle on foot and left it near Eighth and Berendo Street.
A passenger in the stolen vehicle was significantly injured in the incident, suffering from a severed leg. While injured, the passenger is believed to be in stable condition. Authorities are still looking for the driver of the stolen car.
