(INDUSTRY, January 2020) — The individual killed in the fiery multi-vehicle accident on the 60 Freeway in Industry has been identified as 27-year-old Jeremy Olivas.
The victim was driving a 2004 Ford Mustang when a 2014 Dodge Ram rear-ended his vehicle. The Mustang then burst into flames, trapping Olivas inside. A Honda was also hit by the ford and caught on fire. Olivas died from inhaling products of combustion in the accident.
The man in the Honda was transported to the hospital with severe burns, while 42-year-old Kaj Faaborg was seen running from the scene on foot but was later arrested.
