(LOS ANGELES, FEBRUARY 2020) — The driver responsible for the deadly wrong-way crash in Bel-Air has since been charged with murder. According to authorities, 42-year-old Marco Abrego was driving drunk on the freeway when he slammed into another driver on Sunday. The impact of the crash sent that driver’s vehicle crashing into another vehicle on the 405.
43-year-old Joey Allen was killed in the accident. Abrego has been charged with murder, gross vehicular manslaughter, and a DUI.
