(LOS ANGELES, MARCH 2020) — One employee was struck and killed by a vehicle in a freak accident in a La Cañada car wash a week ago.
Calixto Chan Cauich was working on a vehicle at the end of the parking lot located at 2355 Foothill Boulevard when a Mercury Grand Marquis lost control and struck the Mercedes Cuich was working on. He became pinned underneath the vehicle and was dragged out of the parking lot.
He succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital. The crash is believed to be the result of a mechanical issue with the Mercury Grand Marquis.
