Fire hydrant struck in two-vehicle crash in downtown San Diego

(SAN DIEGO, MARCH 2020) — A fire hydrant was struck in a two-vehicle crash in downtown San Diego last Thursday.

Two cars crashed into each other at the intersection of A Street and 10th Avenue, according to a representative from the San Diego Police Department.

A truck involved in the accident struck a nearby fire hydrant, causing it to spew water up to two stories high in the air. The driver of the truck also became trapped in their vehicle following the accident.
