(FONTANA, MARCH 2020) — All lanes of traffic were shut down on the 15 Freeway in Fontana on Sunday night after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a passing vehicle.
The victim’s body was found just south of Glen Helen Parkway and the Interstate 215 interchange. Two pedestrians were seen running on the highway, according to witnesses.
The driver of a gray Honda Civic contacted authorities and told them he thought he hit debris on the road. The driver continues to cooperate with authorities as the investigation continues.
