LOS ANGELES, CA – Victor Valley News reports that three women died in a head-on accident on Palmdale Road near Sheep Creek. The accident was reported at 4:03 p.m. on April 16th and involved a 1993 green Honda Accord and a 2002 black BMW. San Bernardino Firefighters arrived about ten minutes after the accident to find all three women involved had died in the crash. The women have been identified as 23-year-old Mary Lacerte, 22-year-old Eden Nunez, and 28-year-old Ashley Taylor.
Witnesses report that one of the vehicles was driving the wrong way when the car crashed head-on into the other. One of the cars erupted into flames upon crashing. Multiple people stopped and attempted to put the fire out before emergency responders arrived.
Police say they do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved. We will update you when we know more information.
