Teens critically injured after accident in Cajon Pass

CAJON PASS, CA- Teenagers from the Victorville area were critically injured in a car accident in Cajon Pass last week, according to Victor Valley News. 

The California Highway Patrol reports that 18-year-old Daniel Joseph Castellew was driving his 2017 Ford Mustang on Interstate 15 when he crashed into a 2014 Toyota Prius driven by 25-year-old Christian Jose Martinez. The collision occurred around 5:15 a.m. on April 16th.

After the accident, both vehicles were overturned and skidded into a nearby embankment. The driver of the Prius sustained minor injuries, while the driver of the Mustang and two female passengers in the car were critically injured. One of the female passengers was airlifted to a nearby trauma center.
