LONG BEACH, CA – A 54-year-old woman named Adrienne Bates was killed Tuesday afternoon while attempting to cross the street near Coolidge Park, Los Angeles police officers report.
The crash occurred on East Artesia Boulevard near the 710 Freeway at 3:10 p.m. on April 28, as the driver was traveling east on Artesia. Police pronounced Bates dead on the scene, and have begun an investigation into her death. The driver who caused the accident remained at the scene and assisted police officers. There is no information about the driver available at this time.
