CARSON, CA – Three vehicles collided at the intersection of West 234th Street and South Main Street, killing one of the drivers and a pedestrian who was in the area at the time of the crash. The accident occurred at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, May 1, according to CBS Los Angeles.
Police officers pronounced the pedestrian dead on the scene, and rushed one of the drivers to a local hospital with serious injuries. Another driver was trapped in their car after the accident, and firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department worked to extricate them.
Unfortunately, the trapped driver also died on the scene. There is no information about the condition of the third driver involved. At this time, police officers are unsure what caused the accident, but there is an ongoing investigation into the incident.
