LOS ANGELES, CA – A car crashed through the fence near the A-Line train on Saturday, interrupting train traffic on the north and south tracks indefinitely.
My News L.A. reports that the vehicle drove through the fence at approximately 7:14 a.m. on May 2. The vehicle came to a halt after driver over the right-of-way for the A-Line trains, which are located near Alameda Street and 117th Street.
The driver was not injured in this accident, and there were no passengers or trains involved. The police have not released any information about the cause of the accident at this time.
Although the police state that the vehicle is no longer blocking the tracks, the Metro train service has decided to stop trains traveling north and south in the area.
Metro is unsure when they will be able to restart train travel on this track. The organization is working to create a bus route in this area during the closure.
