LOS ANGELES, CA – A pedestrian died on Thursday night after being hit by multiple cars on the 210 Freeway.
ABC 7 reports that the California Highway Patrol closed eastbound and westbound lanes on the 210 Freeway near Hubbard Street, while officers investigated a fatal pedestrian accident.
A pedestrian was walking on the eastbound side of the freeway at approximately 9:30 p.m. May 7. Officials believe the pedestrian was hit by more than one car in the accident, but they have not released any information about these vehicles.
The police pronounced the pedestrian dead on the scene of the accident. They have not provided any identifying information about the pedestrian at this time.
The circumstances which caused this accident are still under investigation. However, the police re-opened the 210 Freeway to traffic at 1:00 a.m. on Friday, May 8.
