Passenger dies in sports car crash

LOS ANGELES, CA – On Sunday a McLaren sports car crashed in Valley Village, killing the passenger and injuring the driver.

The accident occurred at approximately 9:40 p.m. on May 10, according to My News LA. The vehicle was driving near 4900 Carpenter Avenue when the driver lost control of the car. The police have not reported any other vehicles involved in the accident.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department rushed the passenger in the vehicle to a local hospital with critical injuries. The passenger died at the hospital shortly after the accident.

The driver also sustained injuries from the accident, but the police have not released the type or severity of these injuries.

Officials investigating the accident believe the driver was speeding, which may have caused the crash. The police have not made any arrests at this time.
