SANTA CLARITA, CA – A driver crashed their vehicle into a fire truck that was turning into the Greenbriar Mobile Estates on Sunday afternoon, damaging the truck and another car in the accident.
The silver Mini Cooper was driving on Soledad Canyon Road near Wishbone Lane at approximately 2:20 p.m. on May 10, according to KHTS. The driver in the Mini Cooper was attempting to pull over to allow the fire truck to pass. However, the fire truck made a right turn and the Mini Cooper collided with the truck.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department reports that Fire Engine 111 was en-route to a medical call, when the collision occurred. The Mini Cooper caused significant damage, and the fire truck is currently out of service for repairs.
Another vehicle was leaving the Greenbriar Mobile Estates when the Mini Cooper and the fire truck collided. This vehicle also sustained damage from the accident.
Although the accident caused significant property damage, none of the drivers in the three vehicles were injured in the crash.
