LOS ANGELES, CA -Two pedestrians and a bicyclist were injured Monday night by a driver who then fled the scene.
Los Angeles Daily News reports that the incident occurred on Valley Spring Lane near Cahuenga Boulevard at approximately 8:00 p.m. on May 11. A motorist in a silver Ford Fusion with a Texas license plate drove down the street and struck three adults. The driver then left the scene of the accident.
An officer with the Los Angeles Police Department witnessed the accident and pursued the vehicle. However, the driver escaped the police approximately one mile from the accident in the Universal Studios area.
All three victims sustained injuries in the accident. However, officials on the scene transported only two of the three victims to a local hospital for treatment. The police report that their injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
