VALLEY VILLAGE, CA – According to CBSLA, Daniel Silva pleaded not guilty to a murder charge on Wednesday in the fatal crash that killed YouTube personality Corey La Barrie.
In an update to a previous story, Silva, tattoo artist and star of “Ink Master,” was driving a sports car at high speeds when it crashed into a stop sign and tree at the intersection of Huston Street and Carpenter Avenue on May 10. The passenger, Corey La Barrie, a YouTube personality, died at the hospital shortly after the crash. It was his 25th birthday.
Police said that Silva attempted to leave the scene of the accident but was stopped by citizens who attempted to render aid. The Los Angeles Fire Department arrived at the scene and transported both Silva and La Barrie to the hospital.
