SANTA MONICA, CA — Authorities in Santa Monica are currently investigating a weekend crash in which the driver careened into Shoop’s Delicatessen on Main Street.
According to The Santa Monica Police Department, a dark-colored SUV crashed into Shoop’s Deli Storefront around 5:25 p.m. Saturday. Upon their arrival, they noticed the vehicle had fled the scene.
The investigation into the person responsible for the damage is ongoing. “That is all our investigators will share at this point,” said Santa Monica Police Lieutenant Joseph Cortez.
