ANAHEIM, CA – Two men were pronounced dead at the scene after a minivan collided with their vehicle in east Anaheim Saturday night.
The incident occurred when a silver Mazda CX9 minivan traveling east on La Palma Ave. struck another vehicle.
One victim was ejected from the vehicle upon impact while another was killed in his seat. A third occupant was transferred to a local hospital with critical injuries, according to The Orange County Register.
The suspect was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Anaheim police plan to make an arrest when the driver is discharged from the hospital as they believe drugs and alcohol played a role in the fatal crash.
