SAN DIMAS, CA – Police responded to reports of a shooting in Azusa Monday evening and were led on a chase through the San Gabriel Valley when the suspect attempted to flee. The chase ended when the suspect’s vehicle slammed into a car turning into a parking lot.
The chase wound across the 210 and 605 freeways and through Baldwin Park, Irwindale, and Pasadena. The crash ended the pursuit in San Dimas.
The suspects attempted to flee on foot after the crash but officers apprehended them and took five people into custody.
Occupants of the other car were evaluated at the scene and found to not have any serious injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
