BURBANK, CA – Two people were injured and arrested Monday evening when an altercation with police led to a shooting and then a car crash on the 134, ABC 7 reports.
Officers were investigating a series of robberies in Orange County, which led them to the Claim Jumper restaurant Monday.
A conversation between the officers and suspects seems to have flared tempers. The suspects shot at the investigators and then led them on a high-speed chase on to the 134 Freeway. They crashed near Zoo and Riverside Drives.
Two ambulances were called to the scene, and two suspects were taken into custody.
