SAUGUS, CA – Two people were injured when a vehicle collided with a pair of horses on San Francisquito Canyon Road Monday night.
The Los Angeles Police Department received reports about a crash between a horseback rider and a vehicle at about 9 p.m. Monday. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene and found that two horses had died from the results of their injuries.
The car was severely damaged during the accident. Two people were taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
No arrests have been made. Officials are still investigating what caused the crash.
