CULVER CITY, CA – A two-car collision killed one individual and sent a second to the hospital Tuesday morning, reports Patch News.
L.A. Firefighters received reports of a car on fire on 6800 South Sepulveda Boulevard around 5:20 a.m. Officials found two cars had crashed, leaving one car on its roof and the other on fire.
A man in the overturned vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The other vehicle’s driver had escaped his vehicle before it became engulfed in flames. He was transported to the hospital with major injuries. The victim’s names were not disclosed.
Officers investigated the cause of the crash and the sequence of events leading up to it.
