LOS ANGELES, CA – A pedestrian was severely injured Wednesday when a sedan hit him on Oxnard Street, reports My News LA.
The report came in to the LAPD around 9:00 p.m. A driver was traveling along Oxnard Street and for an unknown reason swerved into the pedestrian. The driver drove off and did not stop to see if the 70-year-old man was ok. The man died at the scene.
The car the suspect was driving had extensive damage from hitting the pedestrian and officers are on the lookout. Officers have not released the name of the victim.
