LOS ANGELES, CA – A woman from Los Angeles died after being struck in a hit-and-run collision in a Montebello intersection Sunday afternoon.
According to My News LA, the crash occurred within the crosswalk at Garfield Avenue and Via Paseo. 22-year-old Angeles Palomino was hit and killed by a vehicle shortly before 4:00 p.m.
Montebello Fire officials pronounced the woman deceased at the scene. Information regarding the suspect involved in the collision has not been made available.
