SANTA MONICA, CA – Officials with the Santa Monica Fire Department responded to an accident in which a vehicle careened into a building Thursday afternoon.
According to The official Twitter page of the Santa Monica FD, the crash occurred along Lincoln Boulevard near Pacific Street and Strand Street around 2:40 p.m.

Officials cleared the collision from the roadway by 3:00 p.m. However, motorists have been advised to avoid the area throughout Thursday evening.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the collision. However, this situation is still developing. We will provide any pertinent updates as they are released by authorities in Santa Monica.
