CASTAIC, CA – According to The California Highway Patrol, a rear-ending car accident has occurred on I-5 near Parker Road, north of Santa Clarita.
The accident took place in the southbound lanes and was reported today at around 11:55 a.m. According to police, a vehicle was traveling on the roadway, swerving in and out of traffic when it sped up to approximately 80 miles per hour. The suspect’s vehicle then rear-ended a Toyota van.
Police suspect that alcohol may have played a role in the crash.
