WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – A woman who had been out walking her dog was taken to the hospital Tuesday after being hit by a car on Sunset Boulevard, according to WEHOville.
The accident happened at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Sherbourne Drive, near Eveleigh restaurant, on Tuesday night as a man driving west on Sunset struck a woman with his vehicle.
The victim, whose identity was not revealed in the report, was taken to Cedars-Sinai for the treatment of undisclosed injuries.
The driver is not believed to have been under the influence of alcohol when the crash occurred.
The accident remains under investigation by the West Hollywood Sherriff’s Station.
