LOS ANGELES, CA – According to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lakewood Station spokesperson, a truck crashed into the Don Ruben restaurant at 12006 Carson Street near Elaine Avenue in Hawaiian Gardens at about 7:30 p.m. last night.
The driver of the GMC truck fled on foot after the crash and has yet to be apprehended. Two female restaurant patrons were hospitalized with grease burns after the accident.
