(TEMESCAL VALLEY, January 2020) — The mother of one of the victims killed in the crash in Temescal Valley said the boys were playing a prank on a nearby home on Sunday night. The boys, believing they were knocking on a friend’s home, played the prank on Anurag Chandra’s home.
After the boys began to run away from the home, Chandra came outside and got into his Infiniti sedan and drove after the boys. He purposefully slammed into his vehicle, sending their vehicle flying in a nearby tree. The crash occurred at Temescal Canyon Road.
Three of the teens died in the accident. Chandra has been arrested and will be arraigned later this month.
