(LOS ANGELES, March 2020) — Three children were injured after two SUVs collided on Monday night, leading one of them, a 4-month old, to die in the hospital.
NBC reports that the head-on crash occurred around midnight in North Hills. A white SUV went into oncoming traffic before striking a black SUV and crashing into parked cars. The driver of the white SUV, a 30-year old woman, and her three children were injured at the scene. One of them later died at the hospital. The driver of the black SUV sustained moderate injuries and is currently hospitalized.
An initial investigation suggests that the children may not have been secured correctly. The mother is suspected of DUI.
