Two killed, one in critical condition following crash in Hancock Park

(LOS ANGELES, MARCH 2020) — Two people were killed and one remains in critical condition after an accident in Hancock Park on Monday morning.

The accident occurred at 2:00 a.m. when two cars collided on North Highland Avenue near Melrose Avenue. Both cars involved in the crash were BMW sedans.

Authorities pronounced two victims dead at the scene, while another was found trapped in a burning vehicle. The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The force of the crash was so significant that it uprooted a palm tree and destroyed a fire hydrant. The crash remains under investigation.
