(LEBEC, APRIL 2020) — A tanker has crashed in Kern County, closing both directions of the Golden State Freeway, MyNewsLA reports.
The crash took place at Lebec Road this morning around 7:40 a.m. The southbound lanes of 5 Freeway were closed at Lebec Road, while the northbound lanes were closed at Parker Road.
The tanker was transporting an unknown chemical. Crews arrived on scene for chemical cleanup.
The crash led to at least one injury. Further injuries have not been reported at this time.
