IRVINE, CALIFORNIA- Irvine firefighters worked efficiently to free one of the drivers involved in a severe collision Friday evening.
Just before midnight, the fire department responded to a call near MacArthur Boulevard and Red Hill Avenue. A red Mustang and a white Dodge Challenger collided, leading to injuries for both drivers. The driver of the Challenger had to be rescued by the fire department.
Witnesses claim that the driver of the Dodge had man an illegal left turn. The conditions of both drivers are currently unknown. However, they were immediately rushed to nearby trauma centers.
