Stolen vehicle leads to fatal car crash, passenger killed

SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA- An 18-year-old passed away in a fatal car crash when the driver of a stolen vehicle hit a telephone pole while fleeing from the police, KTLA reports.

Brint Everette Taylor, 19, was driving the stolen Kia Soul when police tried to pull him over. He then sped through 16th street, where he crashed into a telephone poll near Medical City Drive. The passenger, who has yet to be named, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Taylor suffered from critical injuries. No one else appears to have been involved in the accident. Police encourage anyone with additional information surrounding the fatal car crash to step forward.
