16-Year-Old Killed in Rollover Accident

LOS ANGELES, CA – A 16-year-old boy driving a Dodge truck lost control of the car while driving and crashed into a highway barrier. The crash caused the car to flip over and throw one of the passengers out of the vehicle. According to KTLA 5, the accident occurred on Freeway 10 near Crenshaw Boulevard around 3:20 p.m. on Friday, April 24.

When the crash occurred, the Dodge was driving in a caravan of vehicles commemorating the Armenian genocide. Four 16-year-old boys were in the vehicle during the crash and they sustained serious injuries. The passenger who was ejected from the vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene. The three other boys were taken to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The police do not know what caused the driver to lose control at this time. However, a video, posted shortly after the incident, shows the car weaving across highway lanes and three passengers leaning out their windows.
