LOS ANGELES, CA – The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that a vehicle hit and killed a pedestrian on Saturday, April 25. The police found the pedestrian at the intersection of 58th Street and Compton Avenue at approximately 3:45 p.m.
Officers transported the pedestrian to the St. Francis Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening injuries. The pedestrian died at the hospital during a surgical procedure. The CHP has not released any identifying information about the pedestrian or the driver who caused the accident.
