LOS ANGELES, CA – A 57-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car and killed while crossing the Long Beach Freeway. According to the Press Telegram, the accident occurred on Saturday, April 25 at approximately 8:35 p.m. The pedestrian, who police identified as Stewart Gonzales, was crossing the southbound freeway near Alondra Boulevard when he was struck by a driver in a Honda Sedan.
Officers found Gonzales trapped under the vehicle, and they pronounced him dead on the scene. The Honda’s driver remained at the scene and assisted the police in their investigation. The police have not released any information about the driver at this time.
