LONG BEACH, CA – At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday morning caused by an intoxicated driver.
According to the Long Beach Post, the accident occurred at 10:05 a.m. on Friday, April 24, at the intersection of Cherry Avenue and Fourth Street. Police officers arrived on the scene to find one of the vehicles overturned on its side with the driver trapped inside.
The man in the flipped vehicle sustained moderate injuries in the accident, but refused medical treatment from paramedics on the scene. Police officers determined that the man was intoxicated, and arrested him for driving under the influence.
