Pedestrian severely injured in overnight crash on the A737 between Kilwinning and Dalry

IRVINE, CA. – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a car on the A737 between Kilwinning and Dalry early this morning.

According to the Irvine Times, the crash occurred at around 2:35 a.m. approximately a half-mile south of the junction with the Dalry bypass. The victim, a 34-year-old woman, was hit by a Ford Fiesta. She was transported to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment of severe injuries.

Police are still investigating and urge anyone who witnessed the crash to call Police Scotland on 101. If you have information, please quote reference number 0292 -May 14th.
