MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – A Manhattan Beach police chase ended shortly after the suspect crashed head-on into an MBPD vehicle early yesterday evening.
Police received reports of a stolen Kia sometime before 6 p.m. and soon located the vehicle. A chase ensued, which ended when the two vehicles collided at the intersection of Rosecrans and Pacific Avenues. The suspect attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended in a nearby residential area.
Neither the officer or the suspect was injured.
