Police chase of stolen vehicle ends with two hospitalizations

LOS ANGELES, CA – South Los Angeles police pursued a stolen vehicle Monday night that ended when the driver wrecked the vehicle, according to KTLA 5.

Police pursued the stolen vehicle around 10:30 p.m. Monday, but it only lasted a few minutes before the driver of the stolen vehicle struck a car at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Marlton Avenue, losing control. The stolen car collided with a palm tree and its two occupants were taken to a hospital in unknown conditions.

The occupant of the vehicle that was struck in the intersection did not sustain any injuries. The intersection of the accident was closed for several hours while Los Angeles police conducted an investigation.
