Two killed in collision with semi-truck on the Pacific Coast Highway

WILMINGTON, CA – A car rear-ended a semi-truck Thursday morning, causing a fire and killing two individuals, reports CBS Los Angeles.

Reports came in at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday of a fiery collision on the Pacific Coast Highway’s 2000 block. The Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department were called to the scene.

The LAFD found both occupants of the car dead at the scene. A fire had erupted from the crash but was extinguished quickly.

The victims of the crash were not identified. Officers are still investigating the cause of the collision.
