Multiple car collision in Fountain Valley kills pedestrian

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA – A multiple-vehicle collision in Fountain Valley killed one pedestrian, reports LA Times.

The traffic collision occurred on June 25 on Warner Avenue around 11:04 p.m. Tuesday, June, 23.  A man was found in the westbound lanes and was unresponsive. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital. The victim later died of his injuries. His name has not been released.

Two vehicles stayed at the scene, a blue Acura RDX and a Grey BMW X3. Both drivers fully cooperated with the police. Early investigation indicates that there may have been more than two vehicles involved in the crash.

It is not clear whether drugs or alcohol were a significant factor in the collision. The crash is still under investigation and more information may be forthcoming.
