TUSTIN, CA – Law Enforcement in Tustin shut down a portion of the 5 freeway following a multi-vehicle collision early Wednesday morning.
According to My News LA, the accident happened just before 3:00 a.m. along the Santa Ana Freeway at the exit to Newport Avenue. Officials with the California Highway Patrol say this portion of the freeway will remain closed throughout Wednesday afternoon.
Two vehicles were damaged in the crash. However, no injuries have been reported. We will continue to monitor this situation and provide any further information as it is made available by CHP.
