LOS ANGLES, CA – Officials in Northridge have reported two injuries, one of which was critical following a multi-vehicle crash Saturday evening crash.
According to My News LA, officials responded to a crash involving an SUV and a white sedan within the 9800 block of North Balboa Boulevard just after 6:30 p.m.
Upon their arrival at the scene, Los Angeles Fire officials extracted one victim using tools. The individual who was pinned in the vehicle was extracted and transported to a local hospital in critical condition. No word on the condition of the other individual involved has been released as Monday evening.
Officials say speed played a factor in the crash. However, the exact circumstances are still under investigation.
