LOS ANGELES, CA – Two people were killed after a wrong-way driver caused a head-on collision near unincorporated La Crescenta-Montrose Monday morning.
KTLA reports that the crash occurred shortly after 2:40 p.m., when the wrong-way driver was spotted driving westbound in the eastbound lanes along the 210 freeway.
Both the wrong-way driver and the other motorist were pronounced dead following a fire at the scene of the crash. The drivers have been described as a woman and man in their mid-20’s.
This portion of the 210 Freeway was shut down for several hours following the crash.
