DUI suspect involved in Lincoln Heights crash that injured at least 2 people

LOS ANGELES, CA – A motorcyclist suspected of a DUI crashed into the Ave 26 Taco Stand in Lincoln Heights, which injured at least two people on Tuesday evening.

The accident happened around 10:45 p.m. on Artesian Place, according to local news reports. Both LAPD and LAFD responded to the crash.

One of the food stand workers was left unconscious, and the driver was injured by the crash. At this time it is unknown the extent of their injuries.

Drunk driving is suspected to be a factor in the crash, according to local authorities.

The food stand was destroyed, and left food and tables scattered throughout the area.
