SANTA ANA, CA – A stolen car crashed into a police cruiser during a chase in Santa Ana Thursday night.
The pursuit of the stolen car began around 10:45 p.m. and resulted in the suspect slamming into a police car, according to CBSN Los Angeles.
The suspect collided with the police car while attempting to make a U-turn at South Euclid Street and West McFadden Avenue. The crash caused two non-serious injuries. Both the suspect and a police officer were taken to a local hospital via ambulance for minor or moderate injuries.
Authorities reported a gun was found in the stolen car. No names have been released at this time.
