Multiple injury crash shutdown 110 Freeway in South Pasadena

SOUTH PASADENA, CA – The 110 Freeway was shutdown for two hours due to a crash that injured four people Sunday evening in South Pasadena.

According to Pasadena Now, the accident was reported at 10:06 p.m. by a resident in the area who heard the collision that caused one vehicle to hit a tree.

Of the four injured people two sustained critical injuries, and all taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital. Pasadena and South Pasadena firefighters worked together to cut free all victims from the car that struck a tree.

Authorities reported that a sedan collided with another vehicle on the 110 freeway, went over an embankment, then hit a tree.

All northbound lanes of the 110 Freeway were shutdown at 10:28 p.m., with traffic being diverting off at Fair Oaks Avenue. All lanes reopened at 12:31 a.m.
